Strategic development & Evaluation

  • Selected for inclusion in UNESCO’s pool of qualified candidates eligible for consultation when forming evaluation teams, managed by the Division of Internal Oversight Services.

  • Commissioned by the European Cultural Foundation to review the European Pavilion programme since its inception in 2020. The review aimed to support the programme’s development and ensure alignment with ECF’s 2025–2029 strategy. The analysis involved reviewing the development of the programme engaging stakeholders through open, unstructured discussions known as narrative assessments. Unlike traditional evaluation interviews, these assessments allowed participants to share stories and insights freely, emphasising personal discoveries and minimising interviewer bias. (Sep 2024 – Jan 2025).

  • Supported the planning and delivery of Creative Europe’s Performing Gender two-day event in Brussels. Performing Gender is a three-year audience development project aimed at strengthening connections between cultural professionals and local communities in Bologna, Leeds, Ljubljana, Madrid, Marseille, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, and Umeå, using dance as a platform to explore themes of gender and sexuality. The final event provided an opportunity for project partners to share their learnings with the wider sector and policymakers. As part of this event, programmed sessions, facilitated an evaluation workshop, and contributed to drafting a set of policy recommendations, which were presented at the European Parliament (Sept – Nov 2023).

  • In collaboration with Milica Illic, a consultant based in Brussels, co-drafted a scoping report and produced a set of recommendations to support Projekt Europa’s International partnership development strategy (Sep 2022 – Jan 2023).

  • Undertook research on behalf of the Barbican to develop a set of recommendations to develop an International Staff Exchange Programme (July - Aug 2022).

  • As a consultant on the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries, helped shape the international component, Creatives Explore. This initiative enables Fellows to explore transnational connections to enhance their career sustainability, foster European peer relationships, and build a global community of cultural workers and artists. The WJCB programme supported 50 paid positions in UK arts and cultural organisations, prioritising individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds. It focuses on developing early-career artists, curators, and creatives through inclusive recruitment and organisational change (Aug 2021 – July 2022).

  • Drafting of an evaluation framework to capture and communicate internal learning for a new residency programme at the Bluecoat , Liverpool. This residency was set up to support dance artists interested in engaging with audiences within a visual arts organisation and was devised to embed the value of a care within its development (April - Sept 22).

  • Evaluation panellist for DutchCulture's Artists in Conversation series which features creatives from Egypt, Hungary, Australia and the Netherlands.(June 21)

International Showcasing 

  • Caravan assembly is a curated gathering of performance makers, international programmers, and producers, embedded within the Brighton Festival. The initiative aims to foster dialogue, exchange, and collaboration. Served as a mentor to selected artists and arts organisations featured in the 2022 and 2024 editions, while also leading a workshop on international funding for participating companies.

  • The Horizon showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe aims to build strong, lasting connections between artists in England and international partners. Assisted with The Talent, a project by Action Hero and Deborah Pearson, helping the artistic team engage with international programmers at the showcase (Aug 2023).
